DANCE PARADE NEEDS OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS!
Hello Everyone... Could you help me out or ask your friends if they could help me anytime over the next four weeks..... I was recently invited to become the Outreach Director of Dance Parade. So far, it has been very exciting and I have had the opportunity to meet so many artists... It has been SOOO inspiring for me. As much I love meeting everyone, I just cannot do it alone and it would certainly be more fun to work with more people! This IS volunteer work and I am a volunteer too, SO I hope that some of you can come to help me with this project!

I will be having weekly meetings in midtown Manhattan 6:30 pm Every Monday until Dance Parade on May 17, 2008 and I hope to hear from some of you  feel free email me at Karen_kriegel@yahoo.com or show up at the meetings!

DANCE PARADE
DANCE PARADE is a not for profit ALL VOLUNTEER organization dedicated to unifying the dance community in a fun and socially responsible way.
The Outreach Department of DANCE PARADE needs Smart volunteers who want to build a community of talented people committed to using their skills in socially beneficial ways supporting the arts by helping support the artists in a direct and tangible way.
DANCE PARADE provides an opportunity for artists to create a unified and supportive environment. DANCE PARADE links up creations, collaborations, ideas, and general support. Artists become part of a community that supports and nurtures their craft.

VOLUNTEERS
Under guidance from the Outreach Director, OUTREACH VOLUNTEERS register dance groups by communicating directly with dancers, studios, schools, organizations and events, in person. Drives parade sign-up by groups and individuals. Maintains an active presence in one or several dance communities in order to connect these Communities to DANCE PARADE and each other. Should be a positive person with a positive attitude, high energy and professional to present DANCE PARADE as the Emerging non-profit force that we are. Must be an excellent communicator, outgoing and willing to go out and meet and register artists for dance parade.
