Welcome, Washington DC Meetup Tangueros!

The Washington DC Argentine Tango Dance Meetup Group includes training plus weekly and monthly social events particularly in Argentine Tango. For those interested in more than just Argentine Tango, my other Washington DC Tango Dance Meetup Group includes both International & American style Social and competition style Tango, as well. The Meetups of the two groups, however, will often coincide, unless focus for the event is not on Argentine style Tango.
Each week we will be learning and practicing in the different levels of Argentine Tango, especially for beginner and intermediate dancers (visit www.TangoDanceSPORT.com). The weekly Sunday Meetup classes and milonga MAY include two levels taught by two highly qualified teachers at the same time, followed by a social dance event and milonga for those who cares to stay and practice (which we highly encourage). Often dancers will come to only dance up to 11:00pm (in time to catch the last train to Georgia) after the classes end at 7:30pm. Music for dancing will begin, however at 7:15 for dancing and practice even while the classes are wrapping up. Every week on Sunday evening there will be both beg, intermediate and adv level material.
