the Dancing Kids NetworkDuring the weekly Washington DC high School & Middle School Dance Meetup, the kids can learn all of the Ballroom, Social Latin, Swing and rhythm dances over time every Saturday from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Chevy Chase Ballroom & DanceSport Center.
The kids have been WATCHING "Dancing with the Stars", now it's time for each one of them to "BE ONE"!
No dance partner or previous dance experience necessary, though having a regular dance partner is always ideal for being able to practice the dances learned each week.
These are all drop-in beginner classes. We will always review each week, so that those who are new can catch up.
Parents are also encouraged to join the classes (adult admission is $95.00 per 10-class dance card also good toward any of Terry Chasteen's Chevy Chase Ballroom adult classes) to be able to help the kids practice at home. As well we encourage teachers and educators who may be interested in beginning a social dance program in their schools.
Location: the Chevy Chase Ballroom & DanceSport Center, 5207 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington DC located above Paul's Liquor less than 1 block South of the Jennifer Street exit of the Friendship Heights red line Metro.
