Emails for the group

Hi everyone!

I know it's been awhile since you've heard from me. I've been kind of out of the loop lately, but it's been an extremely rough and stressful year so far.

Some of you know that my mom passed away in January and I very much appreciate the comforting words, thoughts and prayers that you have shared with me. I'm doing well. I've been spending more time with my family and that has helped. Now if I could just cut down on the overtime at work, maybe I would have the energy to get back out on the dance floor. Hopefully soon!!!!

I did want to mention how emails are set up on this group. I originally set it up so that everyone could email the group, but then when someone replied that also went to the entire group. People were getting unneccesary emails when it was usually meant for me or one of the assistant organizers. I changed the settings so that I, or one of the assistant organizers have to approve messages before they go to the group. I went on the site yesterday for the first time in a very long time (I want to apologize for that) and noticed a message waiting to be approved. I didn't notice the date and approved it since it looked relevant. Mark is an assistant organizer so his emails do not have to be approved, which is why his reply went straight out to the group.

So, if you have an email that you want sent to the entire group then please do so and we'll try to keep a closer eye on that and get it approved more timely. If you want to email a particular individual then please go to their profile (which can be found by going to 'members') then click on 'contact' next to their name. These emails do not have to be approved, so they will be received immediately. You can also click on the names at the left to email one of the organizers. I hope this helps the confusion.

I probably won't make it out this weekend, but I hope everyone has a terrific time out dancing. Jason and Erica are terrific dancers and instructors so if you can make it to Step-N-Out, it's definitely worth the money. I just wish I had some energy!
