“ Dance lesson starts at 8 pm sharp, everyone gets name tags there, I will be wearing a red top and jeans, dance shoes. Look for my AMY name tag. ”

The Granada is on First in Alhambra, a four story venue in the 1930s style. Third floor is where we will begin with a 2 hour lesson, for those who need a little practice. The Granada Salsa Club officially opens at 10 pm. Check the website www.TheGranadaAlhambra.com

Lessons are given by www.LetsDanceLa.com - please check the site for more info on the instructors. This is the first lesson of the month and will be $16 and then free for the club after, lessons there after on Fridays are part of a series and you will probably see me at those too. The lesson we will take is for beginners but still keeps a quick pace, you will need all your wits about you. Everyone is lined up and learns the basic steps then girls rotate and dance with each man there. Usually more girls than guys. This class fills up so be on time, or just meet later, downstairs at 10ish.

I will not be carrying my phone, lol no place to put it, but will be wearing a red dress top and jeans, dance shoes. Look for me. After the lesson, I will stay on the first floor.

Dress for the club and be ready to have some fun.

    Sorry I didn't make it! I ended up staying home feeling a bit fluish, just woke up and now tumbling back to sleep.

    Great venue. I've taken Salsa classes at the The Granada before. Can't say enough about the ambiance, it's great. Enio and Terryll are great instructors. You'll have fun... I have to report for Navy Reserve training in San Diego and I wont be able to attend. ( Looking forward to the next Salsa meet-up. )
