Thurs LEVEL II Salsa @ 8:30pm @ SHOCKra

For students with a knowledge of basic steps, turns & rhythm: getting creative with more complex turn patterns & solo steps or shines, styling body movement and musicality .

Jose Luis Leon will be teaching! He has been teaching salsa for 11 years and has competed & exhibited his dancing skills throughout New York. In his instruction, Jose explains each step as you go and gives tips that help your body and mind retain the moves. He makes sure each step works for each person to bring out their own creativity. Upon request, Jose can also teach Merengue, Bachata, Swing & Tango.

This is designed for those familiar with the basics already! The atmosphere is warm, unintimidating, and a lot of fun. No fear, no procrastinating: get yourself on in here!

*Attire: wear whatever makes you feel comfortable - suit, skirt, sweats, tuxedo, jeans, whatever? just don't wear flip flops!!!
