Fri & Sat Dance-&-Learn Parties start at 7pm for those wanting the beg classes followed by mini-classes for those who need more help, plus plenty of dance music for those who don't. The Tango classes take place at 9pm and beg/intermed Tango milonga continue in the 2nd studio until at least 11:30pm while Brazilian Samba, Ballroom, Latin & Swing dancing & mini-classes and dancing take place in studio A.

Learn all of the dances in Salsa & Rueda, Ballroom, Latin (Cha Cha, Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue), Hustle, Bollywood (special Bollywood class, performance & dancing by the Bollywood Dhoonya Dance Company from India in studio B from 9:30-11:30pm. $20. for the Dhoonya Bollywood dance event), Swing, authentic Brazilian Samba (with the Samba Diva Danielle Areco teaching the authentic Brazilian dances PLUS serving caipirinhas before 9pm!), Michael Jackson's Thriller by request, Head Of State Hip Hop by request, Argentine Tango and more.

Format most Chevy Chase Ballroom non-holiday dance parties:

7:00pm Beg mini-classes and dancing in the Ballroom, Latin & Swing dances followed by Ballroom, Latin, Salsa & Swing dance music with teacher assistance until 11:30pm. Plus "Dancing with the DC Stars" mini-dance competitions open to everyone (winners are chosen by audience applause, so invite your most loud and obnoxious friends)

9pm Beg and intermed Argentine Tango mini-classes in 2nd studio taught by Terry Chasteen (beg) and a 2nd teacher (intermed) & an Argentine Tango beg/intermed milonga with teacher assistance from 9:00pm.

NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE OR PARTNER NECESSARY TO ATTEND
